Oatmeal and a Cigarette
Bad Dog! Productions
Three desperate people...and a whole lotta security blankets!
SHOW DESCRIPTION
Three-year-old Billy leads a charmed life; he stays home all day, gets his diapers changed, sleeps in a crib, his mommy cooks his dinner every night, tells him nursery rhymes, and he gets to look out the window and color in his books all he wants. Except that Billy is actually thirty years old and has a bushy beard; he only thinks he’s three. He’s never been out of the apartment. His “mommy” is actually his older brother, who fills his head with terrifying nursery rhyme versions of everything outside. And the babysitter is a grad student. Her thesis topic is Billy. And no one knows it.

Kiely, an accomplished actor, poet and musician; Madeline Maher, an actor, singer, designer/technician and producer; George Sapio, an award-winning playwright, director, dramaturg and photojournalist; and Melissa Thompson, stage manager and director, currently the producing director/general touring manager for Kathryn Blume’s The Boycott.
