SHOW DESCRIPTION
Guns and Chickens - a timeless tale. Conceived, developed and performed by nearly twenty actors, Guns and Chickens is a fable of epic proportions and good old-fashioned story telling at the same time. With song, dance, comedy and tragedy, Guns and Chickens is Fringe at its best. This allegory sparks the imagination and touches the heart.
ARTIST/COMPANY BIOGRAPHY
The Micha Collective is an ensemble of nearly twenty actors inspired by the teachings of the great Russian actor Michael (Micha) Chekhov. This band of actors, singers, and dancers exists only for the ‘09 Fringe Festival, and is guided by mother hen (and local actress/fight director) k. Jenny Jones. The Micha Collective is an eclectic group that brings a bold, new and imaginative exploration of Fable story telling.
'AND THE FRINGIEST PART IS ...'
No frills - Just Fringe. Guns and Chickens has been created and developed solely for the '09 Cincinnati Fringe Festival, and will not exist come June 6. The Micha Collective takes the stage in this epic Fable, creating worlds and characters of mystery and wonderment. Everyone loves a good old-fashioned story!
