April Fools is a collaboratively created show following four fools on a quest to capture laughter. Brought to you by Four Humors Theater (last year’s Cincy Fringe Producer's Pick and Fringe Olympic Gold Medal winners.) A series of vignettes featuring physical acting, object work, music, dance, and poetry, April Fools is a showcase and celebration of anything and everything that elicits laughter.
ARTIST/COMPANY BIOGRAPHY
A collective of actors, directors, designers, musicians, and writers led by Jason Ballweber, Brant Miller, Nick Ryan, and Matt Spring, Four Humors Theater has created original, hilarious and awe-inducing productions in Minneapolis, Minnesota since 2005. Operating on production budgets of less than $1000 per show, Four Humors believes the epic can be created from the ordinary; that the beauty of theater lies not in expensive sets and costumes, but in the connection between performers and audience. We make the beautiful foolish and the foolish beautiful.
