One-man comedy film noir magical mentalist murder mystery!

Follow the trail of a killer through murky paranormal city streets in the world’s only one-man comedy film noir magical murder mystery! Marvel at impossible deductions from clues supplied by you, the spectator! Think Boardwalk Empire meets X-Files meets Naked Gun. Part stand up, part mentalism, part theater, all gritty 1940’s nostalgia.

“PICK OF THE FRINGE” Award -Victoria Fringe Festival
“FOUR STARS. Truly impressive.” -The Times Colonist
“FOUR STARS. Surprisingly Refreshing.” -The Star-Phoenix
“FOUR STARS. “Edge of your seat for the entire performance.” -Indie Adelaide
“Winner from start to finish.” -The West Australian

To the creator's best knowledge after 16 world tours, this is genuinely the first and only one-man show using magic to support a plot that's about something other than being a magician.

Loved this show!  Very witty, well-paced, clever.

    Only one flaw:

Mr. Darrow, arsenic doesn't smell like almonds.  Cyanide does.

This was a pleasant, light weight one man show. The film noir, 1930's detective premise was well done, quick, clever and funny. If this had been the show, we may have liked it better. In fact, the persona of Dick Darrow was a vehicle for an audience participation magic show. This was adequate, but not as entertaining. All in all, it was a good hour, but again, not a great hour. The actor is good with the audience, and smooth with his lines. If humor and light magic are you thing, Dirk Darrow delivers.
