FRINGE FACT: The 2004 Cincinnati Fringe Festival utilized three venues and one found space: Cincinnati Shakespeare Company (the Festival), Contemporary Arts Center (then brand new facility), and Sycamore Place (a converted retail space, now a UC Gallery). CAC is the only venue utilized all 5 years.

The School for Creative and Performing Arts was established in 1973 in the historic former Woodward High School, built in 1906.
