It is not unusual to watch a Fringe show and have something to
think about, but this actually qualifies as education. It is the kind
of education you wish you could have gotten in school. It is a lecture,
but the visuals and the ongoing conversation between the lecturer and
his computer are pure entertainment. You are having a good time
while absorbing information- lots of information. You might call this an
anti-war piece, but the war being examined is the War on Drugs. That
is why KNOW is in the title. We, as citizens spending over $50 billion a
year on this war, need to know what it is, and decide if this is what we
want to be doing. Entertainment, education, and social awareness- a
top value Fringe show.

People have long called the war on drugs a complete joke. Louisville improv and sketch comedian De Blenniss is taking the next step.

Just Say Know is a one-man stand-up comedy presentation — mixed with slick multimedia — dissecting and investigating the history of drugs and their impact on the country. Blenniss got the idea for the show, he says, when he was giving a serious presentation for a college class on drug abuse. Turns out the PowerPoint slides he inserted for comedic effect made the biggest impact, and a Fringe show was born.
