2016 Visual Fringe

Fringe isn't just a time to celebrate just live performance, it's a time to celebrate ALL art!

This year's Visual Fringe projects feature numerous ways to feast your eyeballs, from completed projects ready to enjoy,
works-in-progress to observe the evolution of, and even ways for you to participate in creating something!

#piecesofthequeen from Daniel R. Winters

An abstract exploration of the little pieces of life around us, some soaked in history, some new additions all presented outside of our normal day to day experience of them. Add your own experience to the gallery at Fringe HQ by using #piecesofthequeen on Instagram. Pieces available for purchase!

The Fringe Mural from Higher Level Art

The 9th Annual Fringe Mural from Higher Level Art, installed over the course of the festival, will be a permanent addition to the Know Theatre exterior. Consider donating a dollar or two to help fund this year’s “hidden image”-inspired piece of art — or for $500 you can have your name concealed within the design!

Lucky Shot from Mikki Schaffner

We got so many fabulous photos of local celebrity mixologist Molly Wellmann for our Fringe poster photoshoot that we just had to display some of the unused shots at Fringe HQ! Pieces available for purchase!

Pretty Much curated by Danielle Tellez

A group exhibition showcasing the work of six women who lead the way in the art community: Brittany Walker, Madison Wade, Arial Vivanco, Anna Christine Sands, Kiley Greger and Lillian Weber. Ranging from photography and painting to video and more, the exhibit is open at Art Academy’s Chidlaw Gallery 9AM- 5PM (M-F) or whenever shows are performing at the Art Academy venues. Pieces available for purchase!
